Electricity Power Plant Monitoring

Power plants utilize seawater for cooling purposes and as a result release water that is warmer then ambient temperature water, back into the coastal area. This results in various biological processes and interactions been affected especially regarding reproductive periods of various species. Additionally with the onset of global warming and temperature change these areas are hotspots for biodiversity changes and will show the effects of climate change sooner. AP Marine has carried out surveys and documents biodiversity in these areas as part of ongoing annual research.
